Transocean Extends Rig Leases at Reduced Rates With Shell, BHP

Transocean Ltd., owner of the rig that exploded in the Gulf of Mexico and triggered the biggest U.S. offshore oil spill, reached agreements with Royal Dutch Shell Plc and BHP Billiton Ltd. to extend rental agreements for two drilling vessels.
