Korea's Samsung Heavy Industries announced today in a regulatory filing that it has won two drillships worth KRW 1.245trn ($1.1bn) from an American shipowner.Samsung is unwilling to disclose the name of the shipowner according to confidentiality clause, but New York-listed Pride International, which ordered a drillship plus an optional ship at Samsung last December, seems to be the owner of the newbuildings.
