COSCO contracts 3 livestock carriers
COSCO Guangdong Shipyard won 3 plus 1 optional 15,000dwt livestock carriers from unnamed European shipowner. The owner paid the deposits for this special ships last month to make the order effective. The newbuilding price is around US$28.25m per vessel, the delivery date are due for 2013 and 2014. The securied ships will be launched between Feb 2013 and 2014.
