Norwegian energy producer Statoil is to appeal against a Nigerian court ruling in a case brought by a local consultant who says he has not been paid.
The court ruled in favour of former Statoil consultant John Abebe, who is seeking 1.5 percent of Statoil's net profit from its stake in the 240,000 barrels per day Agbami field.
