Husky Energy, Chinese partner advance their plans for offshore gas field

Husky Energy Inc. says it has an agreement in principle with China National Offshore Oil Corp. outlining their plans for funding and operating the Liwan 3-1 deep water gas field development.
The offshore gas field is one of the Calgary-based company's main development projects in Asia. Husky announced last week that it would to keep the Asian business rather than split them into a separate company.
